Which Firm is the Best Discount Broker?

If you do not rely on a full service broker, you might be wondering whether your current broker is the place to be.  You might also be looking for a new broker.  Business Week and other publications, are reporting that many individuals, as a consequence of the Bear Market are moving towards managing their own accounts.  

Over the next couple of days we will look at the main brokerage firms and examine the pros and cons of each.

  1. Lower service charges might tempt you but there are some other things which you should consider before selecting your discount broker. Check out the advantages, they will charge you lower service cost and they never force you to buy any particular product. There are some disadvantage also such as, they will never advice you for any product, they are unable to give you quality customer service.
